DuBois Integrity Academy: Supporting a Growing Charter School Community
Long-term facility financing helped a Georgia K–8 charter school build stable campuses as enrollment grew.
A growing school requires more than a strong academic program. As enrollment increases, educational facilities must evolve alongside the needs of students, educators, and families. Long-term campus planning becomes an essential part of sustaining that growth.
Founded in 2014, DuBois Integrity Academy serves students across multiple campuses in Riverdale, Georgia. The public charter school provides a K–8 education centered on STEM, blended learning, and preparing students to become confident, inquisitive lifelong learners. As the school expanded, creating stable, long-term educational facilities became an important part of supporting its continued operation and future development.
To support that objective, American Infrastructure Partners partnered with School Infrastructure Partners (SIP) and Grow Schools to provide long-term financing for the school's facilities. The collaboration helped establish permanent educational spaces that support classroom instruction, school operations, and the daily experience of students and faculty.
Unlike many traditional public schools, charter schools often must secure their own facility financing as they grow. Access to long-term infrastructure capital can provide greater certainty for school leadership as they plan for enrollment, invest in campus improvements, and continue serving their communities.
Today, DuBois Integrity Academy operates across multiple campuses serving elementary and middle school students in Clayton County. The project reflects a collaborative approach among American Infrastructure Partners, School Infrastructure Partners, Grow Schools, and school leadership to finance educational infrastructure that supports long-term operations while allowing the school to remain focused on its educational mission.
